The E Co. chamber
Hello and welcome to The E Co. Chamber, a podcast that opens the door to the world of climate finance and development - and the echo chambers these create. So what are echo chambers? Through the insights and experiences of some of us on the inside, join us as we unpack them and find out how they relate from the design to the evaluation of projects and programmes. We'll head behind the scenes and discuss the challenges and opportunities we face on a daily basis - and the trends we observe in the sector.
This podcast is run by the team at E Co., an international climate and development consultancy specialising in low-carbon, climate-resilient projects and programmes.

Episode 1 - The experiences of a development practitioner: Gender in focus
This is a podcast that opens the doors to the world of climate finance and development, and the echo chambers they create. Through the insights and experiences of those of us on the inside, we’ll be heading behind the scenes and unpacking the challenges and opportunities faced on a daily basis, and discussing the trends we observe in the sector.
Our first episode is the first part of a two-part special, focusing on the topic of gender, and experiences of gender mainstreaming and challenges for development practitioners. Joining us in the discussion we have independent Consultants, Roberta Piacci and Debasmita Boral Rolland. This first episode is hosted by E Co. Head of Marketing, Mariella de Souza-Baker, and also features the insights of several external professionals. We are fortunate to be able to present ideas and opinions from Inka Schomer, Senior Gender and Infrastructure Consultant at IFC and Director of Distill Inclusion, and Silvia Emili, Portfolio Lead at Value for Women.
